I related to that and felt at ease when you were brave enough to say that and how inspired I was that you volunteered more and more as the year progressed. It sounds like your class has taken to your belief about speaking up...how they are opening up is a reflection of how you are doing the same. Corey,

Your students are very lucky to have you in their corner every day working so diligently to help them become well rounded little people! I have been in your classroom at various times and I am always so impressed with the collaboration that takes place, the tolorance, acceptance, and respect every student has for each other and for you, and the true sense of a positive community of learners. The work you have done with our 2 special needs students is just heart warming to me...thank you for loving them and seeing their potential when so many other people haven't been able to see those wonderful qualtities!
